SOLD: Occasional monkey chair
This little arts & crafts reclining chair dates from the early 20th C and was probably a conservatory chair. As was the fashion back then, taking the air and spending time sitting in the garden produced lots of lovely little chairs like this one.
The Monkey chair has a small frame and would be ideal as a nursing chair, a childs chair, a bedroom chair or as an occasional feature piece. The Exotic Monkey fabric has been chosen to emulate the chair’s original 1910/1920’s colonial style.
It has been completely stripped back to the original frame. In keeping with my philosophy, I have reused what I can and reupholstered using the original springs and hardware and some of the original stuffing. See my blog for the full story.
